SINEAD LENNON

Sinead practiced in general physiotherapy in Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar until specialising in the area of Women’s Health in 2006.

She set up the Women’s Health service in Blackrock Clinic in Dublin and practised there for 6 years before joining the busy Physiotherapy Dept at the Rotunda Hospital in 2015. Sinead moved to Galway last year and has recently joined Bailypoint Physiotherapy Clinic.

She is a member of the ‘Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health and Continence’ clinical interest group of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and was a committee member for 4 years.

Sinead has a keen interest in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. She enjoys educating and empowering patients to manage often complex and multifactorial issues associated with bladder and bowel dysfunction. She is aware of the need for Health Promotion and enjoys giving pre and post natal advice at pregnancy retreats and mother and toddler groups. With over 13 years of experience working with women throughout pregnancy and menopause alongside painful conditions and sexual issues, Sinead is eager to assist in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
