ABOUT EMMA
Emma is a native of County Clare. She graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. She subsequently worked in the NHS, initially in hospital settings before specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy. She worked as a senior physiotherapist in MSK before moving back to Ireland. She has also worked with a variety of sports teams, in particular with rugby teams in Scotland.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Emma has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, closely working with patients to facilitate their return to activity. She is particularly interested in knee and shoulder conditions. She has worked extensively with pre- and post-operative orthopaedic conditions. She is an APPI trained Pilates instructor and utilises clinical pilates in her treatment. She is also trained in Dry Needling. She has completed courses in strength and conditioning, advanced pitch-side first aid and chronic pain management.

We have a team of 10 experienced Chartered Physiotherapists who specialise in women’s health, licenced acupuncturists, clinical pilates instructors, a hydrotherapist, specialists treating Vestibular Disorders (Vertigo/Epley’s manouver) & Bells Palsy, domicilary physiotherapists operating from our state of the art facility in Salthill.
