ABOUT DERMOT DUFFY
Dermot graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2018. He then worked in the NHS for a number of years, working in a variety of different hospital settings before specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy. He worked as a senior physiotherapist in MSK before moving back to Ireland. He has also worked with two different football teams in Edinburgh, and has also worked in a private physiotherapy clinic.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Dermot has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, and helping patients to restore their physical function and achieve their goals. He has a special interest in treating shoulder, knee and ankle injuries. He has extensive experience rehabilitating clients after orthopaedic surgeries, as well as treating chronic back and neck pain. He has also completed courses in pitch-side first aid and sports taping.
