At Baily Point Physiotherapy Clinic we love to help people to stay active. Our event fit package is scientifically designed to minimise the risk of running injuries, maintain your running potential and enjoy events niggle-free. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, Marathon, Ultramarathon, Triathlon or Adventure Race event, our package will minimise the risk of injury, despite the fact that 80% of runners will pick up an injury annually. Your success is our success.
What's included in the package?
Initial Assessment
A full history of current & previous injuries, points of discomfort, running experience, goals, general health & lifestyle questions.
Physical Exam
A detailed physical examination of the body with close assessment of areas of previous injury.
Analysis
A biomechanical assessment of the foot & lower limb, including Gait & running analysis.
Training Programmes
Training programmes/pacing advice
Rehearsal
Rehearsal & prescription of individual home flexibility programme and home core stability & strengthening programmes
Recommendations
Runner recommendation to match foot biomechanics including lacing pattern advice
