Elaine has over ten years experience in managing a range of acute and chronic conditions including spinal pain, upper and lower limb issues and post-operative rehabilitation. She has a special interest in rehabilitation, helping clients achieve their potential through movement and exercise. Elaine has worked with many pre- and post-natal clients and has developed a special interest in this area. She is particularly experienced in guiding clients through safe exercise during and after pregnancy, pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain and in the area of pelvic health.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Elaine graduated as a chartered physiotherapist from the University of Limerick in 2008, and has since worked across many sectors including private practice, hospital rehabilitation and semi-professional sporting environments in Australia and New Zealand before returning to Ireland in 2019. During her time overseas, Elaine expanded her expertise and training in Clinical Pilates under the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute. She then continued to develop her interest in this area managing a Clinical Pilates studio within a busy private physiotherapy clinic in Melbourne. In 2017, she completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through the University of Queensland.
