  • Postural re-education can prevent reoccurrences.

WHAT TO EXPECT

80% of the population will experience low back pain at some stage in their lifetime. It is the most common complaint seen in our practice and is the cause of much sick leave in Ireland. Most people will recover from an episode within 2-6 weeks, although it re-occurs in 30% of cases.

Back pain sufferers should seek early professional advice, to establish an accurate diagnosis, implement a successful treatment plan and accelerate their recovery to pain relief & full function. Multiple structures (muscles, ligaments, facet joints, nerves and discs) can cause pain when injured. Symptoms can be localised to the back or alternatively refer into the buttock & further into the leg.

Our musculoskeletal physiotherapists are experts in the assessment & management of back related disorders and use a variety of successful advanced treatment techniques.
